This marvellous treehouse retreat sits close to the charming Cornish town of Helston on the Lizard Peninsula. With two bedrooms, this superb stay offers groups of up to five guests a peaceful escape amidst beautiful scenery with amazing views across the trees.
When you arrive, you’ll spot the striking treehouse, which blends nicely into its surroundings and rises out of the ground. Having been crafted from locally grown chestnut trees, Daskor is partially sunk into the landscape and has beautiful larch cladding on all sides.
Drop your bags off in your room and step out onto your stunning decked balcony where you can soak in the sunshine. Out on the deck you’ll find some outdoor seating where you can enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink as you gaze out at the view. This is also a lovely spot for an alfresco lunch in the sunshine on the round dining table that seats four. Also on the deck is a deluxe, free-standing bathtub, which is a great spot for an indulgent soak as the stars come out above. The treehouse also has an outdoor seating area out the back where you’ll find a cosy chiminea, a Weber portable BBQ and picnic hamper for day trips, torches for evening wanders and soft sheepskin blankets to keep you warm under the stars.
Stepping inside, the treehouse has a wonderful and modern open-plan living space, with a nice dining area and a stylish and practical kitchen. The kitchen is kitted out with a slick Samsung induction hob and oven, where you can whip up a feast.
After a delicious dinner, sink into the Scandi-chic lounge, where a curvy Jotul woodburner takes centre stage - perfect for cosy evenings and fireside chats. Settle in for a movie night on the ultra-sleek Samsung ‘Frame’ TV or switch it to ‘Art Mode’ and let a masterpiece light up your space.
When it’s time to wind down, retreat to one of the two dreamy king size beds, set at either end of the treehouse for a little extra privacy. Wrapped in naturally soft linen from British brand Piglet in Bed, you’ll be drifting off in no time. Need more space? A full-sized single in the second bedroom means the treehouse comfortably sleeps up to five.
Come morning, freshen up in the luxe separate shower room, where a walk-in rainforest shower and heated floor await. With organic toiletries, Lusso Stone fittings and warm towels from the heated rail, it’s a spa-like start to your day.
