Dar Jaguar is an elegant hotel in central Marrakesh for grown-ups seeking exotic adventures in a sumptuous, luxurious central location. Cool off and relax in the spectacular subterranean plunge pool, enjoy sunset drinks on the rooftop terrace toasting the mountains that provide the ever-present backdrop, or chill out in one of the gorgeous salons, where guests are invited to read, relax and take in the magnificent surroundings. Guests can book one of the five fabulous bedrooms, each of which sleep two, or hire the entire property exclusively for larger groups and special occasions.

The rooms of this traditional riad overlook an exotic rose fountain courtyard where four mature palms create a canopy during hot Moroccan afternoons while the wind whispers through the fronds on balmy, romantic evenings. The sound of water trickling in the ornamental centrepiece, a rose-petal filled fountain, creates a calming ambience for guests as they sit sipping aromatic mint tea in the fragrant courtyard.

Dar Jaguar provides a true bevy for the senses, listen to the gentle birdsong, feel the warm sunlight of the skin, marvel at the bourgainvilla wrapping around the palm trees and inhale the scent of the jasmine. This sensory experience is recreated throughout with the thoughtful marriage of Moorish architecture, swooping Beldi arches and exquisite hand carved walls and decorations. Jaguar print papered walls are moodily lit with light cascading from traditional Moroccan lanterns, decadent mosaics and tiles abound and fabrics are lush velvets and silks.

Each of the five en suite bedrooms has been exquisitely and uniquely styled. Guests chose from the grandeur of The State of Grace Suite with its dark wood four poster king size bed, throne style Deco chairs in teal and gold, private Juliette balcony and freestanding copper bath tub. Or, the Sahara-inspired Damascan Blush where desert ochre walls offer sweet serenity in this pretty en suite room overlooking the courtyard. Candles and lanterns create a romantic mood and central heating and air conditioning ensure guests are the ideal temperature however steamy or chilly the Marrakesh night. 

Das Jaguar neighbours the famous Spice Market where visitors and locals rub shoulders in the most stylish part of the medina. It is also where Marrakesh's most stylish bars and shops can be found.
