Situated in a secluded bit of woodland, close to the spectacular Ceredigion coast in Wales, this contemporary treehouse is a romantic escape for two. The beautiful design incorporates huge windows which help create the sense that you’re up in the treetops, a lower deck with a hot tub and a cosy reading nook at the top of the treehouse.
Wake up in the mornings to the sound of birdsong and enjoy breakfast out on the deck before heading off to explore the coast. In the evenings, tuck into a homemade pizza cooked in the wood-fired pizza oven and relax in the hot tub as you enjoy the sunset through the trees.
The living and kitchen space is an open plan area flooded with natural light which filters atmospherically through the trees. There are views which reach right down to the coast and you’ll even catch a glimpse of the sea. Sit back and relax on the sofa and soak it all up or enjoy the view from the breakfast bar as you sip your morning coffee. The kitchen is kitted out with all the basics for whipping up some quick, simple meals and you can enjoy these at the bar inside or the bar outside on the upper deck.
There’s also a shower room and a separate bedroom with a luxurious double bed waiting for you with soft sheets and fluffy pillows. The secluded location means that there will be no traffic noise to get used to, just the sound of the wind in the trees and the occasional burst of birdsong as dawn breaks. Upstairs, you’ll find a cosy little nook overlooking the living area and with beautiful views of its own where you can hide away with a book.
Outside, you’ll find two areas of decking. The upper level is a great place to sit out in warmer weather, relaxing on a lounger or enjoying a beer at the bar while a pizza sizzles away in the wood-fired pizza oven. On the lower deck, you’ll find the hot tub, perfect for relaxing and soothing any tired legs after long walks along the coast.
If you can tear yourself away from your tranquil hideaway, there’s plenty of exploring to be done. Head to the coast for long walks amidst spectacular scenery or a lazy day on one of the blue flag beaches near New Quay. You can even go on a boat trip to see if you can spot any dolphins. The Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is just eight miles away, with its colourful houses and shops where you can pick up some supplies. There are also some great places to eat in the town, such as The Cellar, where you can enjoy some local specialities while soaking up views over the harbour.
