Welcome to Cruckbarn, a luxurious eco cabin set in quiet, secluded woodland and ideally situated for visiting Ludlow, or walking in Herefordshire, Shropshire and the Welsh hills. Situated on the edge of 7 acres of ancient woodland, this hand-built hideaway was crafted from mighty Herefordshire oaks and offers a wonderfully peaceful escape immersed in nature.

Cruckbarn is a recently converted barn with a traditional feel, featuring exposed oak beams, a wood burner, outdoor fire pit and a wonderful open-plan kitchen/living space, plus beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It’s also a fantastic spot for stargazing on clear nights, making evenings around the firepit even more magical.

Inside you’ll find a mezzanine master bedroom with a king-sized bed dressed in luxurious linen sheets. There’s also a further bedroom with a double bed and an additional single day bed, making Cruckbarn ideal for families of up to five, couples or a small group of friends looking to switch off and reconnect.

You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, with two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, Bluetooth music system and vinyl player for relaxed evenings in. WiFi is available, but can be removed at your request if you’d prefer a more off-grid escape. Families are well catered for too, with a cot, highchair and even an all-terrain pram available on request.

If you fancy a night off cooking, the owners can prepare delicious meals using local produce and deliver them straight to your door. Nearby Ludlow is famed for its excellent food scene, cosy pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, while Stokesay Castle, Ludlow Castle and countless scenic walking routes are all within easy reach.

After days spent exploring the woodland trails from your doorstep, return home to soak up the tranquillity of this unique countryside retreat beneath star-filled skies.
