The extensively renovated Court House would not look out of place in a magazine with its modern, minimalistic lines and striking white façade. The whole house has been designed with effortless style which is sure to have you reluctant to leave when it's time to return home. Located just a short stroll from the quaint fishing village of Aldeburgh, you will experience all the luxuries of modern living combined with the charm and history of the local area.
The spacious entrance hall with its handy cloakroom leads you into a stunning open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge area where the focal point is an impressive, vaulted ceiling, allowing the space to be flooded with natural light. The décor throughout is in muted shades of grey, understated yet elegant. Sumptuous sofas invite you to sink into their cosy depths and enjoy the warmth and crackle of the wood burning stove. This is the perfect place to lose yourself in a book or enjoy the 65” TV. Underfloor heating ensures you will be snug on the chilliest of evenings. For those sunnier days bi-fold doors can be opened up to extend the living space out into the garden.
The stunning kitchen is light and airy with quartz stone worktops and is fully fitted with all the high-end appliances you could wish for, and if you’re worried about your Chablis getting warm, don’t be, there’s even a wine fridge! You will also find a dining table here which comfortably seats eight and looks out over the garden via double French doors, making it a wonderful space to enjoy all year round.
The garden is elegantly simple with a large patio area featuring a dining table and chairs, and with steps leading to a neatly manicured lawn bordered by shrubs. For those balmy evenings when only alfresco eating will do, there is a charcoal BBQ to satisfy your inner caveman!
The four double bedrooms are all beautifully decorated in the same calming hues of grey used throughout the rest of the home, and all feature king size beds, subtle lighting and natural cotton bed linen to ensure the most comfortable and peaceful of sleeps. The family bathroom and two ensuites are all stylishly modern in design and feature walk-in showers, double wash basins and WCs. Fluffy white towels add that touch of luxury.
The timeless, pretty village of Aldeburgh with its pastel-coloured promenade and array of boutiques, galleries, cafes and pubs is a couple of minutes’ walk away and boasts not only a stunning beach but world-famous fish and chips! If you’re feeling more energetic, you will find centres nearby that offer sailing, horse riding and even llama trekking, A short drive up the coast will take you to the pretty seaside village of Southwold, and the town of Great Yarmouth is also nearby for a taste of traditional fun.
