This cosy hut for two sits on a peaceful farm in the Essex countryside. Rustic and minimalist in design, the space exudes rural charm and allows you to stay connected to the scenery that stretches out in front of you.
When you arrive you’ll want to unwind outside on your private deck whilst taking in the views. Sit on the comfy seating overlooking the surrounding fields as you enjoy a nice warm cuppa and breathe in that fresh country air. On your deck, you’ll also find a sunken double bath tub, offering a true slice of luxury to your stay. This is the perfect place to relax in style resting weary legs after a day spent exploring the local area. When the sun sets, light the fire-bowl and stay toasty and warm enjoying an evening tipple as the stars come out above.
Stepping inside, the cabin has a calming interior, with a rustic kitchen that makes meal prep a breeze. There is a full oven and hob here, alongside a fridge, so you can whip up delicious feasts during your stay. And the big windows ensure that you’re able to enjoy your scenic surroundings as you prepare meals. When dinner’s ready, dine together at the breakfast bar.
There’s also a nice sofa in the main living space that sits opposite the bedroom area. Speaking of the bedroom, here you’ll find a super-comfy double bed that sits beneath a huge slanted glass ceiling. Pull the blinds down for a peaceful night’s sleep or leave them up and gaze at the starry sky from the comfort of your bed. This huge window also makes lie-ins extra-special as you have your first cuppa of the day whilst enjoying the view. The cabin’s bathroom features a rainfall shower, a basin and a WC.
When it comes to filling your days, you're welcome to roam the 200-acre Colemans Farm, where scenic trails wind through ancient woodland, hedgerows and gentle streams. Beyond the farm, the surrounding countryside and nearby Epping Forest offer a network of footpaths and cycling routes to discover.
Just under half an hour away, The Gibberd Garden invites you to explore its striking sculptures, tranquil pools, sweeping lawns and charming arboretum. For everyday essentials or a leisurely stroll, the picturesque market town of Epping is conveniently close and full of character.

Leave a reviewWe had a lovely weekend at Coleman's Corner! The cabin was cute and nicely decorated, the bed was super-comfy and it was nice to look out onto the fields in the morning. The bath was the absolute best bit and towels/shampoo provided. A few things to note - We were told some kitchen amenities were provided but once we got there (and had already been to the shop) we found watered down fairy liquid, enough coffee for one pot and barely any pepper. For the amount we were paying per night, I would expect this to be provided to an adequate amount. The outside lights/furniture is different to that pictured. The light in the kitchen has a sensor which can be a little irritating when trying to cook. We were provided directions for a few walks which could be done without a car - be aware they are from Coleman's Farm rather than the cabin, and you need to walk across the field opposite to get to the beginning. A few cobwebs and the windows above the bed were a little dirty - not a huge problem but if seeing clearly through the window is the selling point, they may need a wipe before someone comes. Overall, a lovely weekend and beautiful setting :)

Had a weekend break here with my husband was a nice break away. When we arrived we had trouble with the front gate but once we sorted that was nice to see that we had no neighbours. The bath tub outside was lovely to just chill and relax in the evenings. The only negative we had was there was no internet connection we couldn’t get a signal at all which was a pain as couldn’t be in touch with family who where looking after our children. Couldn’t see anywhere on the booking about not being able to get signal or that there is no internet. It was a lovely stay and peaceful. We went to the pub up the road for a meal which was very nice. The cabin it self had all you need for a weekend break. The bed was comfy and the cabin was clean.
