Cedar offers a fabulous, memorable stay in the inspiring Pembrokeshire countryside. The barn combines fantastic textures of bare materials, such as stone, slate, zinc and cedar, alongside modern amenities that provide you and your loved one with a touch of luxury. Cedar has been designed with sustainability in mind and is located within nine acres of beautiful grounds.
The barn is a bright, spacious holiday home, with large bi-fold doors, that let the outside in. You can slide these open in summer and step out into the nice garden, lighting the fire pit to keep you toasty and warm as the sun sets. There’s also an enclosed courtyard with patio seating and a BBQ, meaning you can grill up some delicious local produce and dine alfresco in the fresh country air.
Back inside, the living room has a wood burner with two comfy leather sofas sitting around it, offering a nice spot to socialise with your loved ones whilst taking in the lovely views. Cedar’s modern kitchen is beautiful and functional, with lots of handy appliances and a range cooker with an induction hob. You can enjoy long, tasty meals on the rustic dining table, which is also the perfect spot to sit with your freshly brewed local Pembrokeshire coffee from the coffee machine provided.
Upstairs, the two bedrooms are wonderfully styled and both have their own ensuite bathrooms for added privacy. The first bedroom is bright and airy thanks to two sky lights and features an antique double bed and a luxurious roll top bath, as well as an enclosed shower in the ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is a calm haven of green, cream and wood tones and can be arranged with two large single beds or a super-king size bed, offering plenty of flexibility.
Guests staying at Cedar will want to explore the marvellous grounds that surround them. Nearly every tree, hedge and flower has been planted by the owners, creating a peaceful haven to reconnect with nature. Wander through the wood alongside the stream, play together in the fields, relax beside the large pond or picnic on one of the picnic tables that are dotted throughout the grounds.
If you wish to venture further afield, you can explore the marvellous attractions of Pembrokeshire. You’re on the outskirts of Haverfordwest, so you’re only a few minutes’ drive from supermarkets and shops for essentials. The two mile stretch of golden sands of Newgale is only eight miles away and is perfect for a walk with your dog or for water sports. Other highly recommended Pembrokeshire treasures include St. Davids, Solva, Barafundle Bay, National Trust’s Stackpole and the Pembrokeshire coast path.

The enclosed grounds were perfect for letting our dog, Max, explore off-lead, and the beautiful setting felt like something out of a fairytale. It was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. The homemade treats left for both us and Max were such a thoughtful touch. Karen and Rob are wonderful hosts, and it was a pleasure to experience the beautiful life they’ve built in this incredible location. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, dog-friendly getaway!

We absolutely loved and felt totally spoiled at the spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and unique Cedar barn which was full of character. The owners go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you could possibly need in this luxurious accommodation, lots of welcome pack treats including delicious home made cake, dog biscuits and fresh flowers. The dogs were very well provided for with everything they needed for their stay. Our dogs loved running around the lake in the beautiful enclosed grounds. Such a cosy, well equipped space with lots of extra thoughtful touches. Nutty our spaniel was made to feel really welcome too with almost as many features and treats for dogs as for people. We explored the area and particularly loved the coastal walks and the location of Cedar made everywhere very accessible. My husband, youngest son & dog have just had a fantastic stay in Cedar. A beautifully presented property with such fantastic attention to detail - the interior design with some fantastic quirky design choices (the manhole cover side-table - loved it!). Both humans & canine felt incredibly welcome with delicious food gifts for us both. We have never stayed anywhere quite so dog friendly. The hot/ cold dog washing shower was genius - & so welcome with autumnal beach walks & cliff top muddy walks aplenty. It was such a gem hidden away just outside Haverfordwest. We are seasoned travellers to Pembrokeshire and it was a great location for visiting a variety of our favourite beaches without driving too far. Even the seasonal weather did nothing to dampen our enjoyment as we were so cosy in out cottage. Just a brilliant few days - & already planning our next trip. Thank you so much

We had wonderful stay at the Cedar Barn with our one year old and doggo. Rob and Karen were extremely hospitable and made us feel right at home. We loved the welcome basket of goodies and appreciated our hosts efforts to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The highlight was definitely seeing the neighbourly sheep in the fields every day. Our daughter absolutely LOVED them :)
