Casa Lupe is a newly refurbished home in Teguise that sleeps six. From the property, it's impossible not to feel totally immersed in the culture and atmosphere of the islands. With its rustic, traditional art-inspired decor and typical Canarian courtyard, the home is about as close to authentic Lanzarote as you can get. To top it off the finishings in the bedrooms are beautiful, using colours taken directly from the surrounding natural landscape, meaning Casa Lupe provides guests with a truly elevated experience at every turn.
The property also features two living rooms. One is ideal for the warmer months, while the other, better-insulated space, is ideal for the mild Lanzarote winter. Guests planning on working from home during their holiday are sure to love the villa's dedicated workspace, which makes separating work from play effortless. This is if you can manage to tear your eyes away from the vista, though. Casa Lupe boasts panoramic views of the beautiful volcanoes surrounding Teguise, as well as the shimmering blue Atlantic Ocean.
With three double bedrooms and two full bathrooms, even groups of six will have plenty of space at the villa. Self-catering guests can avail themselves of the property's fully-equipped kitchen which is finished in typical Canarian style, as is the outdoor patio-cum-terrace, which is the perfect place to enjoy a home-cooked meal.
Casa Lupe also makes for an ideal hub for exploring the many delights that Lanzarote has to offer. Teguise itself is home to some absolutely gorgeous beaches, including the Playa de las Cucharas and Playa del Jablillo, both of which are lovely destinations for a swim or sunset stroll. The local church, Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, is finished in typical Canarian style and offers panoramic views of the town, too.
Lanzarote itself is a haven for nature lovers, with its distinctive volcanic landscape making it a fantastic destination for hiking and cave exploration. The Timanfaya National Park is a must-see for visitors to the island, as is the Jameos del Agua cave system (though guests who suffer from claustrophobia may struggle with this particular attraction). Groups travelling with children may also want to visit the Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park, which offers fun for the whole family.
