With its whitewashed stone walls, distinctive conical rooftops and atmospheric stone archways, Casa Badra is quintessentially Italian. Nestled in picturesque countryside, surrounded by lush olive groves, this traditional accommodation provides the perfect place for a tranquil escape with family or friends.

Outdoor living is the name of the game here, whether you’re dining on the vast stone-paved patio, taking a refreshing dip in the private pool or relaxing on a lounger under the Mediterranean sky. Add to this the incredible panoramic views from the roof terrace, and you’ll never tire of your exquisite location.

Sleeping up to 10 people in five bedrooms, Casa Badra is made up of a group of 11 trullis (traditional stone huts, characteristic of the region) and a lamia (Italian countryside home). With its whitewashed walls and cream stone-flagged floors, the simplistic yet welcoming accommodation is wonderfully light and airy throughout.

Inside you’ll find a delightful collection of living areas and a trio of kitchens. The main kitchen/diner is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cater for your group and offers easy access to the outdoor area making alfresco dining a breeze.

The five bedrooms are made up of doubles and twins and are simply furnished to provide a calming and restful environment. The impressive master suite spreads across four of the trullis and features an ensuite with double sinks and a bath, as well as providing external access to the poolside terrace. You’ll also find a further five bathrooms, some of which are ensuite.

While the inside of this charming accommodation is sublime, the jewel in Casa Badra’s crown has to be the incredible outdoor space. Here you can easily spend many happy hours chilling out in the shade of the pergola, enjoying a leisurely meal overlooking the pretty pool, or cooling off in the water. And to finish the day in style, take your favourite tipple up to the roof terrace to soak up the jaw dropping views as the sun goes down.

If you want to sample more of Italian life, the beautiful town of Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is just two-and-a-half miles away, and a choice of lovely beaches are a 30-60 minute drive away.
