Camp Stardust

Enjoy peace and quiet in your own private slice of woodland in Piseco, New York at Camp Stardust. This cabin sits right on the lake, surrounded by the beauty of nature and with stunning views across the water.

Sleeping up to 4 guests, the property is also the perfect romantic getaway for 2 whatever the weather. The open plan living space with high ceilings mixes rustic charm with touches of luxury. The spacious and airy room has an indoor fireplace to snuggle up in during the winter months, a well equipped kitchen and breakfast bar, separate dining table, and desk against the window. There is also a snug room with large TV with DVD and Netflix, and a SONOS music system.

There are 2 bedrooms - 1 with a queen bed and the other with a double - as well as a bathroom complete with a shower, and a further outdoor shower when the summer months come around. Outside the cabin also has its own private dock and boathouse so guests can get out on the water.

When coming in the spring or summer, those staying are welcome to use the 4 kayaks and 2-person canoe that can be found in the boathouse. Big Bay Lake is a 20 minute kayak to the left, Piseco Lake is a 10 minute kayak to the right. With the water so shallow at the shoreline, heading out a short distance is also the ideal way to enjoy a swim.

The area is completely different in winter, but no less beautiful, and there are still plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. The snow will fall but the water rarely freezes, making this location great for fishing. There are plenty of hiking and snowshoeing (2 adult pairs and 1 child's pair supplied) adventures to be found, while snowmobiles can be hired locally for exploring the amazing landscape. There is also a ski mountain, called Oak Mt, in the next town that is also a good night out for music and food lovers.
