The cabin is located in the stunningly beautiful Pluscarden Valley situated between the historic towns of Forres and Elgin. It's peaceful and sparsely populated with a single track road which twists and turns following the black burn which then flows into the river Lossie.
If you want to explore further afield the Moray coast is to the north with pretty villages, sandy beaches, cliffs and caves. The Moray Firth is home to a resident pod of bottlenose dolphins and you can take a boat trip to get a closer look or visit the Scottish Dolphin Centre at Spey Bay.
To the south is the Cairngorm National Park offering watersports, snowsports, walking and cycling. The nearby Rothiemurchus estate offers many activities plus an excellent farm shop.
Moray is home to the world's only Malt Whisky Trail and Speyside has the greatest concentration of malt whisky distilleries in Scotland. The area also boasts many craft breweries and artisan gin producers. You'll never tire of exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. And at the end of the day you can head back to you very own cabin in the woods and luxuriate.

Callie Bothy is pure magic. My husband and I spent three days relaxing and recuperating in May after a frantic work schedule, and the forest did not disappoint. The Bothy is so well appointed, with everything you need to completely hideaway from the world and switch off whilst pampering along the way with forest bathing, hot tubbing in spring water pumped from 62 metres below us, and wood fired sauna ing with views of the beautiful forest surrounds. Phil and Allie could not have been more helpful, we smiled continuously for three days and cannot wait to return. Perfect in every way, 12/10! Thank you Phil and Allie! See you next year!

My Partner booked this for a birthday treat away in August. What Allie and Phil have done with The Callie Bothy is special. From the layout, the interior and welcome bag to the outdoor facilities which were the perfect added touches for this retreat, the natural surroundings and the general feel of the cabin was just fantastic. everything was spotless, there is a real subtle sense of attention to detail and I am glad there is no TV because you certainly don't need it when you are breathing in fresh air and indulging in self care. A super way to relax and reset!
