The Hideaways at Nash Farm

Tucked away on a peaceful working farm on the edge of Eldersfield Marsh, The Hideaways at Nash Farm offers two separate handcrafted cabins designed for slow mornings, starry evenings and cosy countryside escapes. The two hideaways - Buzzard Hideaway and Hare Hideaway - are booked separately and each offers its own unique setting, while sharing the same sense of rustic charm, comfort and connection to nature. With beautiful rural views and the soothing rhythm of farm life all around, these are wonderful retreats for couples looking to switch off and truly unwind. Buzzard Hideaway also comes with its own private sauna, adding a slice of luxury to your stay.

Buzzard Hideaway is a snug Scandinavian-style cabin with calming neutral tones, curved aspen walls and sweeping views towards the Malvern Hills. Inside, the cosy fixed double bed is dressed in crisp cotton sheets, while the compact kitchenette and modern shower room provide all the comforts needed for a peaceful stay. The interiors feel warm and cocooning whatever the season, making it just as inviting on wild winter evenings as it is after long summer walks through the countryside. Light candles, pour a glass of wine and settle in for long conversations as the hills darken outside and the sounds of the countryside drift across the fields.

Hare Hideaway, meanwhile, sits overlooking its own quarter-acre paddock planted with English woodland trees and shrubs. This charming Estonian Igluhut was the first of its kind to arrive in the UK and offers a wonderfully intimate stay immersed in the sights and sounds of authentic farm life. Beyond the paddock, pigs root and play depending on the season, while the surrounding fields and old dairy farm create a wonderfully atmospheric rural backdrop. During the day you may hear tractors working, animals being fed or lambs calling from nearby fields, while at night the farm settles into peaceful stillness beneath vast open skies. Owls hoot across the darkness and the occasional distant moo or baa only adds to the sense of being completely wrapped up in rural life.

Inside Hare, everything has been thoughtfully arranged for cosy, comfortable stays. There’s a compact kitchenette with a two-ring hob, microwave and fridge, alongside a shower room and a small wardrobe for unpacking your essentials. When the weather turns chilly, there’s no need to venture anywhere at all. Cook something simple together, curl up with a book, stream your favourite series or spend the evening chatting by candlelight in true Hygge style.

Both hideaways encourage guests to slow down and embrace the outdoors. Spend your days wandering through some of Worcestershire’s prettiest countryside, spotting wildlife and stopping at welcoming country pubs along the way. There are lovely circular walking routes nearby, with a couple of scenic loops taking in the local pub or hotel for a cosy lunch or fireside pint. Then return to your cabin for an evening around the firepit, wrapped in blankets beneath huge dark skies glittering with stars.

For guests travelling with friends, there are three cabins in total across the farm, making it possible to enjoy a group countryside getaway while still having your own peaceful private space to retreat to at the end of the day.
