The cottage, which is powered using 100% renewable energy, has a pretty stone exterior with a pretty pebbled garden. And once you step inside you’re presented with modern living spaces, beautiful furnishings and everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
Light the wood burning fireplace in the lounge and get comfy on the big leather sofa, staying toasty as you settle in for the evening with your loved one. Or simply listen to the wood crackle as you dive into a good book with a nice glass of wine.
The cottage’s kitchen has a wonderful design that is sleek and contemporary with bespoke William Morris dark green cabinetry that has been carefully hand-crafted by Monzie Joinery. The kitchen is also nicely kitted out with everything you’ll need to prepare delicious meals throughout your stay. There’s even a quality coffee machine, meaning you can make yourself a beautiful morning coffee to enjoy whilst plotting the day’s adventures.
When bedtime beckons, the bedroom is extremely spacious with a picture window looking out to the greenery that surrounds you. Enjoy a wonderful night’s sleep in the giant bed and rise to enjoy a morning shower in the sleek and stylish bathroom. The contemporary bathroom makes use of delightful tiles and flooring and has a huge walk-in shower as well as a double ended bath tub where you can enjoy a luxurious soak after a day out exploring the area. There's even underfloor heating for an added touch of luxury!
Step outside and you can breathe in the fresh Perthshire air with your morning coffee. Or you may wish to enjoy long lazy lunches in the sunshine on the outdoor dining furniture.
Eco conscious travellers will also love the fact that this whole property is powered by 100% renewable sources from the estate’s small scale hydro electric plant. The drinking water is also sourced directly from a local spring.

You’re located in the peaceful hamlet of Monzie, which offers great access to the wider Perthshire countryside. Be sure to head out and explore the area, wandering the many walking routes, stopping off for picnics along the way. You may also wish to visit Monzie Castle - the owners can arrange twice weekly tours of the castle as well as daily tours of the estate's 1950s hydro electric plant.
If you wish to head slightly further afield, you’re within an hour’s drive of both the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and the Cairngorms National Park.
