Delightful barn conversion with private garden and stunning views, ideally located to discover Cornwall’s idyllic north coast.
Please note that the minimum stay for this property is 7 nights
Bull’s Barn is a one-bedroom barn conversion, tucked away on a beautiful farm with 15 acres of fields, orchards and rolling hills. The property is secluded from the main site and makes a perfect retreat for couples or small families. It also has a peaceful private garden, a lovely spot to enjoy a drink or a bite to eat, and guests can take a dip in the heated swimming pool and soak in the hot tub in summer. The barn is well located to explore Cornwall’s north coast, including Polzeath’s golden beach and the charming harbour town of Padstow.
Originally a resting place for the farm’s bulls, the barn has been transformed into a stunning holiday home, well-furnished with stylish décor and all the modern amenities you could wish for. The first floor is where you’ll find the large kitchen, fully equipped with modern appliances, and the sitting room, which has a TV and wood burner to cosy up around on cool nights. Glass doors lead out to the garden, which has a barbecue and outdoor furniture if you fancy dining al fresco.
The spacious bedroom is upstairs, it has a comfy king-size bed and a sitting area with a large window and lovely view – a great place to relax with a morning brew or read a good book. The bathroom also sits on the first floor, boasting elegant slate floors and a luxurious bathtub. The hosts are happy to set up two extra beds in the bedroom if needed, as well as the sofa bed in the lounge. Guests can also make use of an optional cot that can be set up with prior arrangement. Beach towels, bathrobes and toiletries are also provided for your stay.
Guests are welcome to explore the farm and make use of its excellent facilities. These include the swimming pool and hot tub, gym, wet suit drying room and even a zip wire in the orchard – ideal for keeping little ones occupied. You can also collect fresh eggs from the chicken coop and feed the many friendly animals.
The farm is less than a mile to Polzeath, where you can stroll down the scenic coastal paths, bathe in the crystal-clear waters, or relax on the sandy beach and watch one of Cornwall’s breathtaking sunsets. If you are feeling adventurous, there are lots of activities to try out, including surfing, paddleboarding, early morning fitness or a boat trip - you might even spot some dolphins if you’re lucky. Polzeath is also home to some fantastic bars and restaurants that serve up fresh Cornish produce, and local shops stocked with holiday essentials.
