Bull Pen is the former home of Falcon the bull, and is now a stylish and luxurious holiday home that offers you the chance to make the most of the wonderful area that is the Cotswolds. This single-level property has retained many of its original features, but has combined that with modern living.
Bull Pen sleeps up to six guests, so it is ideal for anything from a romantic escape to a family getaway in the Gloucestershire countryside. The open plan living/dining room and kitchen is the social heart of the building, with comfy sofas in front of a log burner separating the seating area. Floor to ceiling windows allow those staying to look out onto the courtyard and beautiful mile-long views beyond. There is then a dining table and chairs for up to eight people parallel to the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and stools. There is also a separate utility room with washing machine/dryer.
There are three super king bedrooms to choose from, spread throughout Bull Pen and all with views of the courtyard. All three are also en-suite, with the master bedroom having a particularly special offering of white marble against exposed stone. All of these can be enjoyed while sitting back and relaxing in the standalone bath.
Outside is a stunning terrace with furniture; which is the ideal spot for enjoying the sunshine. This blends perfectly alongside the classic honey coloured Cotswold stone. As well as this, other original features include ancient beams and iron girders, while there are rustic pots throughout and agricultural tools adorning the walls to hint at what this property once was.
Bull Pen is located near the charming village of Bibury, which has a scenic river running through its centre and picturesque rows of houses. There is plenty to do nearby, with those wanting to go out to eat recommended to try The Catherine Wheel, The Wild Rabbit, Swan Brasserie, or The Bell Inn. Alternatively, why not sip on local ales at Hook Norton Brewery, spirits at Cotswolds Distillery, or try the local produce at Daylesford Organic Farm?
