The details

Bleaklow house has been designed with special occasions in mind, with lots of space for large groups who want to stay together. The accommodation is split across four delightful areas and sleeps up to 30 in 15 bedrooms. All the bedrooms are fitted with luxurious super-king (zip and lock), king and double beds, include plenty of storage space for your belongings and have ensuite bathrooms, providing guests with the experience of a hotel in a self-catering home. The site is nestled away in The Peak District and boasts incredible, far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. These views can be best enjoyed from the patio area, where you can soak up some British sunshine.

The home has been beautifully decorated - locally quarried limestone, Kartell furniture and Juliet Travers wallpaper are just some of the luxurious touches that make the accommodation extra special. The main house features a large kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, and utensils and crockery are provided so you can cook up a feast for the whole party. Meals can be enjoyed around the grand dining table, which looks out onto the Peak District's glorious landscapes. Guests can also enjoy meals in the fantastic grand barn, which offers the perfect place for all 30 guests to eat, socialise and celebrate together. The grand barn also has its own toilets and mezzanine (complete with a grand piano) and plenty of flexibility, making it the perfect spot for a party.

There are two separate living spaces where you can relax and recharge, both with lots of comfy seating, wood burners and TVs, perfect for cosying up and watching the latest blockbuster. Guests can also get the blood pumping in the gym, play pool in the games room or chill out with a good book in the library. The farm house has three floors and eight bedrooms which all have wonderful views, and the attic rooms also have elegant bathtubs and Velux windows. Every bedroom also has an en suite bathroom for added privacy and comfort, and these en suite bathrooms offer up delightful views and luxurious amenities.

The other sleeping areas are detached from the main house and are ideal for couples or small families who want some privacy away from the main group. The Stable and Cornerhouse rooms each have two bedrooms, and the Outhouse has three bedrooms and a small kitchenette for added convenience.

The house is located in The Peak District, renowned for its picturesque rolling hills, dramatic rock edges, wild moorlands and jaw-dropping views. Spanning over 550 miles, the national park is full of famous trails to discover on foot or by bike, and other activities such as rock climbing and cave exploring. The site is also nearby to the charming villages of Great Longstone, Ashford in the Water and Bakewell, where you can find traditional country pubs, boutique shops and a wide selection of fantastic restaurants.

We booked Bleaklow Farm for our wedding in March as we wanted a small intimate family gathering and this venue was perfect especially as it had the grand barn where we would host our family and friends. After booking the venue 12 months prior we were all really looking forward to our stay, but due to heavy snow fall we were worried that it was not going to be possible and the wedding cancelled. Amy, John and Will reassured us and went above and beyond to make sure the weekend went ahead and all our family and friends were able to travel to the farm and have a great weekend. Nothing was too much trouble and we had the best wedding weekend we could have asked for. We could not have done it without the Beyond Venues team. We can’t wait to visit again soon.
