Big Husky Lodge

Set amongst the stunning landscapes of Cairngorms National Park, Big Husky Lodge truly is a one-of-a-kind property that comfortably sleeps up to 25 guests, tailor made for big events and celebrations where the whole group can stay together. Guests at the lodge can socialise and share a drink at the hand-carved bar ‘The Grey Man’s Inn’ or play pool and darts in the games room. If you fancy something more relaxed, why not unwind in the indoor spa suite with a sauna and jacuzzi or enjoy an indulgent soak under the stars in the outdoor hot tub?

A converted ski lodge, the property has been finished to a very high standard, with classy décor, designer furniture and lots of other stylish touches, whilst the alpine feel resonates in the cosy wooden interiors. The super spacious layout includes several living areas with ample seating, smart TVs and wood-burning stoves, ideal for sharing evening drinks or recharging after a long night. The large family kitchen features high-end appliances and lots of space to cook for the whole group, which all guests can enjoy together around a bespoke, red cedar wood dining table. Eight unique bedrooms await when it’s time for bed, these include four ‘signature’ themed rooms with king-size or double beds, two family bunk rooms, one triple room and one twin – most with ensuite bathrooms.

Outside the lodge is the enclosed garden, which has spacious decking, lots of outdoor seating and a large grassy area. Guests can fire up the barbecue and dine al fresco, relax with an evening drink around the stone circle or soak in the hot tub. There are also parking spaces for the whole party.

The lodge is nestled away in the peaceful Scottish Highlands, just outside the vibrant town of Aviemore - a popular holiday destination with plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants, and a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. The UK’s largest National Park, Cairngorms is a breathtaking area that encapsulates the beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Skiing and snowboarding are on offer at Cairngorm Mountain in the winter and visitors can explore the park’s many woodland and mountain trails on foot or by bike throughout the year. White water rafting, kayaking, quad biking, paintballing and archery are just some of the other activities available, or you can simply enjoy the spectacular views.
