Tucked away in the sun-drenched hills of the Luberon, this early 17th century Provençal villa is a rare and romantic escape just moments from the postcard-perfect village of Gordes. Surrounded by scented gardens, stone walls and the soft hum of cicadas, it’s a place where time slows and the magic of Provence gently takes over.
The villa blends centuries-old character with fresh, contemporary interiors. Thick stone walls, a handsome fireplace and original features sit beautifully alongside modern comforts and stylish design. At its heart is an open plan kitchen, dining and living space, perfect for long, lazy meals, morning coffees and evenings spent sharing a bottle of local wine by the fire.
There are two beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms, plus a generous third room separated from the main living space by elegant Crittall-style doors and heavy curtains for privacy. This flexible space can be used as a third bedroom or transformed back into a second sitting room, making the villa ideal for couples, friends or small families. All bedrooms enjoy modern ensuites and there are two separate toilets, ensuring comfort and ease throughout your stay.
Step outside and you’ll find a wonderfully romantic garden designed for outdoor living. Sun-dappled terraces, quiet corners and the private swimming pool create an idyllic setting for soaking up the Provençal lifestyle. The pool can be heated on request, extending the pleasure of swimming beyond the height of summer. Whether you’re reading under the trees, dining alfresco or floating under blue skies, the outdoor space is utterly enchanting.
Beyond the gates, Gordes is just a five-minute drive away, with its cobbled streets, hilltop views and exceptional restaurants. The wider Luberon offers lavender fields, ochre cliffs, vineyards and some of the most beautiful villages in France. From bustling markets and antiques fairs to cycling, hiking and cultural festivals in Avignon and beyond, this region promises endless inspiration and unforgettable days out.
