Batheaston House sits, as its name suggests, in the village of Batheaston, which is located on the edge of the outstanding, historic city of Bath.
This Queen Anne property is a stunning Grade II* listed home dating back to 1712. This beautifully restored country-style residence effortlessly blends period charm with contemporary comfort, offering a stay that’s as refined as it is relaxed. Think grand fireplaces, original paneling, ornate ceiling moldings and a sweeping staircase – all wrapped up in timeless sophistication. Tall sash windows flood the interiors with natural light, while working shutters and historic detailing give this special place its soul. It's heritage living, reimagined for the modern guest.
Downstairs, you’ll find four beautifully appointed reception rooms designed for both celebration and relaxation. The south-facing drawing room is a bright, airy space with garden terrace access – perfect for gathering with loved ones over a glass of wine as the sun sets.
