This remarkable cabin offers couples a wonderfully peaceful retreat tucked away in the Somerset hills. The cabin is hidden amidst bamboo and overlooks its own lake ensuring you have all the tranquility you and your partner need to relax and unwind in style.
On warm days you can lounge about on the outdoor sofa from sunrise to sunset. This is the ideal spot to kick back with a good book and a cup of tea, however, if you fancy a touch of luxury, you can hop into your own outdoor bathtub for two. Unwind in the steaming hot water with a glass of wine as the stars come out above. There is also a firepit and a pair of loungers outside, ensuring you can enjoy an evening tipple staying toasty and warm.
When you step inside, the cabin itself has been lovingly designed to create a cosy and comfy space. Huge glass doors ensure you can make the most of the amazing scenery outside and gaze out over the lake. And in summer, open these up to let the outside in.
The open plan living space features a quaint kitchenette that is nicely equipped with everything you need to prepare tasty meals during your stay. There’s also a small dining table for two, however, in summer, you can dine together on the quaint dining table on the deck. Back inside, the living space features a comfy L-shaped sofa and just off the living space is the cosy sleeping quarters where a super-comfy bed and your tranquil surroundings combine to provide you with a peaceful night’s sleep. The hut also has a lovely ensuite bathroom, with a modern shower and bundles of hot water. When it comes to entertainment, the hut has a DAB radio, a smart TV and fast WiFi.
During your stay you can also make use of your own BBQ hut, which offers you the chance to grill up some delicious local produce. And, if you want to, you can also book exclusive use of the hillside hot tub, which offers yet another deluxe way to unwind in peace. There’s also a barn on-site, with bookable slots, where you can make use of a gym, a sauna, a cold plunge and a games room.
If you decide to venture out and explore, you can wander the shores of your own private lake, or ramble through the adjoining woodland and winding country lanes that spread out in all directions. You can also venture further afield and explore charming towns like Crewkerne and Hinton St George, or head to Bridport for arts, vintage shopping and vibrant markets.
