You should know
- The wood-fired hot tub is available at an additional cost, so speak to the owners when booking to organise.
- Please bring your own towels and flip flops for use of the hot tub
- Large groups, hen & stag do’s are only available if you book the entire site (all three hideaways).
- Not suitable for children under 10 due to the stream and wildlife garden.
- Sorry no pets.
- The site is a 10-minute walk from the train station (a 50-minute train from London).
- Wendover high street is only a five-minute walk from the site.
- There is private parking provided also.

Situated in the heart of the Chilterns National Landscape, this cosy cabin for two offers couples a beautiful escape away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Badger’s Bower sleeps two guests, providing a romantic retreat in peace.
Hand-built in the style of the ‘tin tabernacles’ that once existed across Britain, Badgers Bower is a marvellous retreat for two sits within a secluded woodland glade.
Inside, this cabin has whitewashed walls and warming rugs on the floor and a quaint kitchenette equipped with some basics such as tea, coffee, salt/pepper and cooking oil.
However, the striking feature inside Badger’s Bower is the opulent free-standing bathtub that sits in the main living space next to a big window, providing you and your loved one with the chance to enjoy an opulent soak with a view. After your bath, hop into the king size bed and enjoy a deep sleep in peaceful surroundings.
Stepping outside you’ve got a private garden with outdoor seating and a hammock for relaxing with a drink in hand. There's also space for outdoor cooking on the Kadai metal bowl with two rocking chairs.
Guests staying at the cabin will also have the option to make use of their own private hot tub and the sauna during their stay. These are both optional extras that can be pre-booked, so do mention these to the owners when booking your stay if you wish to make use of them. And, the cabin also has its own firepit where you can sit and warm your toes as the stars come out above.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. The woods were cool in the heat and loved the hot tub and fire pit. Badgers Bower had everything we needed and was a truly romantic break. Very peaceful but Wendover was just a short walk away. Will be back. Maybe stay in the yurt next time.

We had a lovely stay at Badgers Bower. It was just what the doctor ordered: quiet, peaceful and in the middle of nature. David and Karen were very welcoming and the hot tub and sauna add on was definitely worth it. The town of Wendover is quaint and has great restaurants if you don't feel like cooking. Overall a relaxing two nights well spent.
