This utterly charming cottage sits in the majestic Scottish Highlands and offers incredible views of the Cairngorm Mountains. Inside, the home oozes rural charm and character, with beautiful wooden floors, ornate furnishings and fab touches like the wood-burning fireplace and piano.
When you arrive, you’ll be struck by the amazing surroundings, with sprawling hills and mountains stretching out around you. Breathe in that fresh Highland air before settling in for a peaceful break with loved ones. The cottage sleeps a total of six guests across three lovely bedrooms, making it ideal for small groups of friends or families.
Inside, get comfy in the lounge in front of the fire as you tuck into a good book or catch up with loved ones over a nice warm cuppa. The lounge also has a TV and a Bluetooth music player, and complimentary WiFi is included.
Then, when tummies rumble, whip up a delicious feast in the nicely equipped kitchen, which features modern appliances and a butler sink. When dinner’s ready, you can all gather in the superb dining room, which has space for your entire group and a big window that perfectly frames the amazing scenic views. This is the ideal place to enjoy a hearty social dinner with loved ones that stretches long into the night.
On warm days, head out into your lawned garden, where you can picnic or lounge on the grass or dine together on the alfresco dining table that's perfect for soaking in your surroundings. And, if you fancy a bit of peace and quiet, there's a seat in the porch where you can unwind with a drink in hand gazing at the brilliant views.
When eyes grow weary, the cottage has three cosy bedrooms on offer, which include two double bedrooms and one twin, which can comfortably accommodate six adults. If you’re travelling with small children, the trundle beds in the twin bedroom can be extended to sleep four. There are also two bathrooms on offer, one upstairs with a bath and another with a shower. There’s also a utility room with a washer dryer downstairs.
The cottage works as an ideal base from which to explore the Cairngorm National Park as well as the wider Highland region. A visit to Cairngorms National Park offers breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife and endless opportunities for outdoor adventure in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Sometimes, simply taking in the view is all you need - but if you're looking for more, there’s plenty nearby to enjoy, from a round of golf at Newtonmore Golf Course to exploring the rich local history at the Highland Folk Museum. Just a bit farther out, you'll find countless opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing and watersports. And after soaking up all that fresh air, why not visit the highest distillery in Scotland?
