You’ll find the elegantly sublime Muckrach Country House nestled in acres of picturesque countryside. Situated by the quaint village of Dulnain Bridge with close links to popular Grantown-on-Spey and Aviemore this marvellous home sits in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.
This lovingly restored Victorian shooting lodge provides a selection of stunning spaces which are perfect for entertaining and socialising in style and comfort with eleven uniquely designed ensuite bedrooms to choose from. If you have a special celebration coming up or just want somewhere luxurious to gather with family or friends, this is the home for you.
The communal living areas offer a range of spaces for every possible activity or mood. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you could need to create culinary masterpieces for your guests which you can enjoy in the bright stylish conservatory while appreciating the views over the grounds. The sumptuous drawing room offers further sweeping vistas to the Cromdale mountain range via large gallery windows and offers a tranquil spot to enjoy a relaxing pre-dinner drink. In the piano bar, you will find a mirror TV and integrated music system where you can break out your best moves. Reflective moments can be found in the snug and the library, the latter being elegantly furnished in rich reds and blues and boasting a cosy log burner for those chilly evenings.
The eleven uniquely designed bedrooms are furnished with the finest quality fittings in a contemporary Scottish style and offer the ultimate in luxury and comfort. Inviting fabrics and bedding combined with restful muted colour palettes provide a welcoming retreat at the end of the day. Each bedroom has a modern and stylish ensuite bathroom finished with Porcelanosa tiles, rainfall showers and white fluffy towels for that spa-like experience.
Outside, your expansive terrace overlooks the incredible Scottish scenery and a field of resident Highland cattle.
