Designed by renowned architects and meticulously styled by a local interior designer - Hendra Cottage simply oozes luxury. Stone work is painted in muted hues and paired with luxurious designer pieces - from velvet sofas to a sea facing oval bath. Add to this a stunning cliff top location on the Cornish coast and an outdoor wood-fired hot tub that drinks in the view - it’s perfection and then some.
Located in Hendra, a small hamlet between Sennen and Cape Cornwall, this cliff top cottage revels in the most stunning views from almost every room. The living area is as elegant as it is welcoming with three sumptuous sofas and a modern wood burning stove. With colourful textiles and a wall mounted television, the room offers up comfort in perfect style. And the separate snug area makes a great space for children or adults - with a Blu-Ray DVD player and an array of games.
The modern kitchen is well equipped to cater for a large group - and of course it does it in style with hand painted cabinets, bespoke tiles and a large kitchen island. With five gas hobs (as well as a wok hob), wine fridge, double sink and double electric oven, everyone is well catered for. Although if you’d like someone else to cater for your special event then this can be arranged too. The large wooden dining table is beautiful and seats ten easily. Situated next to floor to ceiling windows means you get the best of the stunning view whilst you dine.
There are five perfectly styled bedrooms - a master with a king size bed (ensuite), two double bedrooms, two double/twin beds and a four foot double bedroom on the ground floor that is perfect for single occupancy (ensuite). All of the bedrooms are effortlessly chic with relaxed colour palettes and crisp white linen. The master and ground floor bedrooms also have fully tiled en suites with large walk-in showers. The family bathroom is sparkling with a centrepiece oval bath that possibly has the best view in the house. And there’s a further wet room with a fabulous walk-in shower downstairs.
Outside, you can enjoy the gardens whilst taking in the view. There’s plenty of space for children or dogs to run around. Although, if you prefer a slightly slower pace, the wood fired hot tub offers up a truly relaxing end to your day.
Once you’re done taking in the view, there’s plenty to explore in this beautiful part of the world. Surfers can head to the breaks at Sennen and Gwenver beach. Whilst bathers and sun seekers can revel in the glorious beaches at Porthcurno, Marazion and Praa Sands. And for those in search of some sightseeing then the vibrant harbour towns of St Ives, Penzance and Mousehole are all within easy striking distance.

Hendra Cottage changeover is usually Saturday for one week with short breaks outside school holidays. For bookings of four or less there is a discount. Do check with us if your dates don't quite fit as we will always try to help.
