Full of contemporary luxury and stylish finishings, Sunset House is a the perfect place to get together with friends and family to relax and unwind, while discovering the delights of the Cornish coast.
This beautiful large stone house, with its own private driveway, is set a few minutes from the sea but guests might be forgiven for never leaving the comfort of this wonderful property.
The heart of the house is the living and dining area. A large wooden dining table with beautiful upholstered dining chairs sit by large bi-fold doors where guests can enjoy lengthy brunches in the sunshine. The modern and bright kitchen makes cooking a joy and, thanks to the large kitchen island, there is plenty of space for everyone to pitch in with the culinary creativity.
In the living area, sumptuous yellow velvet Chesterfield-style sofas invite visitors to settle in round the cosy wood-burning fire, nursing after-dinner drinks and indulging in late-night chatter. And in a separate lounge room settle in for film night on the large projector screen, there is even a popcorn machine for movie snacks.
The open plan living and dining space is a fantastic place to gather, eat, laugh and chat. But, when it comes to some relaxation time, there is a large sauna and spa room where guests can unwind with, or without, the rest of the gang. The owners can arrange spa treatment therapists to visit the property for spa days at Sunset House.
Outdoors there is a fabulously well-equipped large patio with lounge and dining areas, an outdoor shower and a fabulous hot tub. When the weather heats up, pull open the bi-fold doors and bring the outside in, before stepping out and going for an indulgent soak in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly in hand.
After busy days at the spa, hanging out in the sauna and lounging in the hammock, there are five equally-stylish bedrooms where guests will find comfortable mattresses, beds dressed with high-quality linens, flat screen televisions and wonderful views.
Beyond Sunset House, there is plenty to discover locally. Hike the stunning South West Coastal Path, explore Portheras Cove and visit the art galleries of Penrith and St Ives. For a night out, The Queen's Arms, the local pub, is just a five-minute walk from the house.
