The detail

Fern View House is nestled in a tranquil setting in the hills above Loch Ness and features stunning views from many of the fabulously decorated rooms. The home also has a pizza oven, fire pits, a wood burning stove and a children's play area, making it ideal for a comfortable and peaceful stay for up to 10 people.

As you enter the living room on the ground floor at Fern View House, you'll find a luxurious open-plan space, perfect for a large group to relax. The room is decorated in cool whites, with sumptuous white sofas and arm chairs, rugs, cosy lamps and tasteful artwork. You'll also find one of the house's four smart TVs and a wood-burning stove here, so when you're not gazing at the views through the floor-to-ceiling windows you can get cosy with a movie. A cute playroom with a TV, toys and games can also be found on this floor that is perfect for the kids.

When it comes to meal prep you'll be delighted to find a fully-equipped high-spec kitchen with a number of modern appliances that makes cooking up a feast a joy. A large dining table with seating for 10 can also be found here which is perfect for big celebratory dinners with your loved ones. There's also a utility room that features a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer for added convenience.

At Fern View House the five luxuriously decked-out bedrooms (one super-king, two king, one double and one twin) will ensure that you sleep in style. Each bedroom features super-comfy beds with luxurious velvet throws, cushions and stylish feature wall-paper. All of the bedrooms come with their own benefits and some have comfy chairs or loch views, while the grand master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe, ensuite bathroom and dressing room. The house comes with four sparklingly clean bathrooms with either walk-in showers or baths.

The outdoor areas are the piece de resistance of Fern View House. With large patio dining and seating areas, a BBQ, three fire pits and a pizza oven, there are no end of options for dining outdoors while enjoying the panoramic views of Loch Ness. A fully enclosed garden with children's play area (including a slide) offer further opportunities to entertain the little ones.

The property is a short drive to the city of Inverness. With its historic castle, fantastic markets, charming pubs and amazing restaurants, as well as its museum and art gallery, there is plenty to see and do in this marvellous city. Lovers of the great outdoors will also be delighted to take on the three-mile Ness Island Walk from Inverness that takes in city sites and a series of beautiful river islands.
