Grand Suffolk home perfect for large groups, offering a hot tub, tennis court and cosy social spaces.
Ashfield Place is a fabulous, giant property that is perfect for group celebrations and family holidays in the marvellous Suffolk countryside. Sleeping 33 guests and sitting within six acres of beautiful land, this amazing farmhouse combines rustic decor with modern amenities to guarantee you and your loved ones a fantastic stay.
Guests can socialise in the giant kitchen, relax and unwind in the private hot tub and enjoy a game of pool in the conservatory games room. Or, if it’s peace and tranquillity you’re after, you can relax with a good book in the cosy lounge on the big, comfy leather sofas.
Meal prep is a breeze in the spacious, fully-stocked kitchen and you can sit up at the kitchen island with a glass of wine keeping the designated chef company whilst they work away. Or, if none of you can be bothered to cook, why not hire a private chef to cater for your group throughout your stay? Enjoy grand dinners and long lazy lunches in the spacious dining room, which can comfortably seat 24 guests and also features a wood-burning fireplace to keep you cosy in winter.
The aforementioned games room is a good place to hang out, and features a pool table, a selection of great board games and a Bluetooth speaker so you can play your own tunes. And the lounge or the cosy snug, both offer great places to socialise long into the night.
When bedtime beckons, Ashfield Place sleeps 30 guests across nine lovingly decorated bedrooms. Two bedrooms are ensuite and the others share two separate bathrooms.
Outside, Ashfield Place is surrounded by beautiful gardens where you can relax in the summer sunshine and settle in for a picnic. Guests also have a private hot tub that is heated all year round and a tennis court!
If you want to venture out and explore, you’re nicely positioned to make the most of all that Suffolk has to offer. You’re not too far from Thornham Walks, which offers 12 miles of glorious walkways surrounded by the beauty of nature. The walks take you through the gorgeous River Dove valley, which is a real treat.
If you’re heading out in the car, the nearby towns of Framlingham and Bury St Edmunds are great. And the seaside town of Aldeburgh offers boutique shopping, charming cafes and delightful pubs.
