Overlooking the beautiful Dee Valley and next to a gentle brook, the bespoke Valley View Lodge provides luxury accommodation in a stunning setting. Enjoy the sunset from the hot tub or dine alfresco on the balcony while soaking up the spectacular views. The design of the lodge is unique and has been furnished with the utmost comfort in mind. Modern appliances, sumptuous bedding and tasteful decor ensure that your escape to North Wales will be as stress-free and relaxing as possible.
The L-shaped kitchen, dining room and lounge is open plan and flooded with natural light thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows which open out onto the balcony and overlook the valley. The fully-equipped kitchen is kitted out with a gas hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave while the dining room table is perfectly positioned in front of the windows. In the evenings, curl up on the comfy sofa with a film on the 49 inch TV as the sun is setting over the valley. The bedroom also has floor to ceiling windows that open out onto the balcony. There’s a luxurious king-sized bed complete with crisp, fresh sheets and another large TV. The bathroom features a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower. Soft, fluffy towels and robes await.
Outside, the balcony provides the perfect vantage point from which to soak up the view. A hot tub and a dining area promise many memorable evenings watching the sunset. The Lodge also has parking for two cars and there’s secure storage for any outdoor equipment you might want to bring along, such as bikes or even kayaks.
North Wales offers a wide range of outdoor activities, from hiking in the Dee Valley or Snowdonia National Park to watersports on Bala Lake. There’s also plenty of history to explore in the ruins of Castell Dinas Bran Castle or the Llangollen Steam Railway. There are National Trust properties and World Heritage sites nearby and beautiful market towns to get lost in. There are also some fantastic eateries nearby, from fine dining at Pale Hall to some top-notch pub food at The Grouse Inn. All before heading back to Valley View Lodge to relax in the hot tub.

What a beautiful place! We have stayed in many different lodges over the years but this one really outdid all our expectations, it’s absolutely beautiful, so spacious and the views are amazing! The hot tub is absolutely summing and Lisa has been so helpful, from giving us food recommendations (which we went with and omg, the food was stunning), taxi numbers and local pubs. She popped in to check the hot tub and was so lovely when she came before we left in the morning. We will definitely be back and recommending it to friends and family. Thanks again for an amazing stay.

Just finished my stay here at Valley View Lodge, and all I can say is wow. From the magnificent views to the very intricate details within the lodge, everything was done perfectly. The lodge is spacious with a fully kitted out kitchen that supplies beyond what you would expect. The bed is extremely comfortable and is a king size which gives you and your partner/other lots of room. There are many windows which allow lots of light into the lodge, and when it gets dark, there are outdoor lights all over the lodge which make it look even better, and of course allow you to see outside too, especially when using the hot tub at night. There is a large space for a car and could potentially even fit 2 cars on if needed. The bathroom again is very spacious with a huge bath and walk-in shower, which is great! The bathroom mirror also provides great lighting for anybody that loves to do makeup… good lighting is a must! I found that the little things such as the Bluetooth stereo speaker added a great atmosphere to the place, as you could connect your device to it and play your own music whilst you were washing up or getting ready, or even just chilling on the sofa. This lodge even provides you with not 1 but 2 large powerful electric fans(one in the living area and one in the bedroom), to keep you cool on those warmer nights. There is wildlife pretty much on your doorstep, with sheep and birds just over the fencing, it is beautiful fo see. Not only the lodge itself is wonderful, but there is plenty to do within a 15 minutes drive away, so I would say the location is good! I couldn’t fault this place one bit, and I will definitely be returning. 100% worth the money, and in my opinion, the pricing was more than reasonable for what you get. Many thanks to Lisa for hosting such a wonderful stay at Valley View.
