In one of a few recreational spaces, guests can wind down amidst velvety armchairs, plush sofas and roaring fires, choose from a wall full of board games or enjoy a film night on a flatscreen TV. The kitchen boasts a long, rustic wooden table, eggshell-coloured cabinets and 1970s-style orange tiling, equipped with a microwave, fridge, freezer, double oven and, impressively, an Aga.

Tucked away in a rustic, wooden-beamed outhouse is the games room, featuring table tennis and darts.
Outside, guests can bask in the sunshine on the outdoor furniture, enjoy an afternoon nap snuggled inside a hammock or cook it up on the BBQ grill. The paved terrace, complete with an outdoor seating area, is the perfect location for an alfresco meal, a morning coffee or an evening tipple, an idyllic, peaceful setting against the backdrop of the quiet Wilshire countryside.
Nestled in Cholderton, Wiltshire, the local area has a rich heritage. You're a mere 13 minutes from Stonehenge, so be sure to take a guided tour around this breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site or drive to the nearby city of Salisbury to marvel at its fab architecture. The cathedral is a must-visit, decorated with stunning interiors and housing the 800-year-old Magna Carta, just one of four remaining copies. If you’re searching for culture, Salisbury Arts Centre can provide just that, offering a vibrant array of exhibitions, performances, workshops and events year-round. Elsewhere, visit the Iron Age ruins of Old Sarum, an ancient hill fort just a few miles north of Salisbury.
