Piper House is a substantially sized, yet cosy, rural home near Stamford, in the Lincolnshire countryside. Sleeping up to 20 guests over a maximum eight bedrooms this is the ideal spot for family getaways or bigger groups looking for a country escape. Beautifully decorated with a tasteful mix of modern furnishings with a traditional feel, Piper House is a comfortable and stylish place to retreat to. And thanks to its private tennis court and stunning wildflower meadow, there is plenty to do on-site. Equally, getting out and exploring the local countryside for long walks and a nice pub lunch is just as easy to do.

Piper House is home to an impressive seven bedrooms, with an additional eighth bedroom if required, as well as seven bathrooms to ensure all guests have the comforts and facilities to feel right at home. As well as this, there is a large, fully equipped kitchen with open plan dining area, the ideal sociable layout. For those cosy days in, there is a TV den and there is plenty more space for all guests to relax in thanks to the 50-foot reception room. Outside, the property benefits from its own tennis court, as well as a stunning wildflower meadow teeming with wildlife and rare plants. The house is surrounded by green fields, a small lake and a stream - the most idyllic haven.

Guests can also book the beautiful St Medard’s studio. This wonderful new stone and wood studio sits beside the main property and is perfect for yoga, t'ai ch'i or other similar activities. The studio overlooks a lake and wild flower meadow, surrounded by gentle English countryside. Lovers of the great outdoors may also wish to indulge in a little bit of wild swimming at the nearby lake.

Located near the small Lincolnshire village of Stamford, Piper House is a fantastic base for exploring the local area. For a more action packed holiday there is Rutland Water which offers cycling, sailing, canoeing, walking and much more. There are a number of historical buildings and old homes to discover nearby, including Belvoir, Grimsthorpe and Rockingham Castles, as well as Sir Isaac Newton's birthplace, Burghley House. Although the house is well equipped for home cooking, there are plenty of eateries and pubs with exceptional food in the local area.

We price midweek breaks from 550 per night (Sun-Thurs)- and allow minimum stays of 4 nights. Weekends (either Fri 4pm to Sun 11 am, OR Sat 4pm to Mon 11 am) are charged at ?2600 (high season) £2200 (low season)

Bank holidays are min 3 nights, charged at weekend rates
Christmas and New Year are min 4 nights.

Prices are based on 14 people staying. Additional guests are charged £80 (per 2 nights) in low season, £90 pp in high season. This includes guests just coming to spend day time at the property and staying elsewhere.

The tennis court, lake and wildflower meadow areas are all included in the cost. The yoga studio is available for an additional charge. Please contact owner for rates based on requirements/numbers.

Sadly we cannot accept dogs.
