This gorgeous house is tucked away on a peaceful street in Margate, well located to explore the town and for trips to the beach. A real home away from home, the property has been thoughtfully designed and prepared to make your stay extra special and is complete with an outdoor sauna and bathtub – perfect for a romantic getaway or a relaxing break with friends.
The space is very warm and welcoming, tastefully decorated with stylish furnishings, unique artwork and lots of personal touches. Love and attention have been put into every detail.
One highlight of the property is the kitchen. Equipped with all the essentials and much more, it’s a real haven where keen chefs and foodies can conjure up delicious meals. Guests also have access to a well-stocked pantry and can help themselves to a selection of alcohol courtesy of the honesty bar. Dinner and drinks can be shared under candlelight in the dining area.
There is also plenty of space to unwind in the lounge, which has comfy sofas, an open fireplace and a TV making the living space ideal for movie nights. The bathroom has been recently renovated and has a walk-in shower and elegant freestanding bath, as well as underfloor heating to warm cold feet. Two delightful rooms await when it’s time for bed, one king and one double, both fitted with luxurious mattresses and bed linen to ensure a sound night’s sleep.
Step outside into the wonderful garden where you can enjoy an authentic Scandinavian sauna experience or soak in the delightful outdoor bath tub. You can also relax in the fab summer house – a lovely spot to spend a sunny afternoon with a good book.
Bergmann House is an excellent base to discover the vibrant seaside town of Margate. A great place to start your adventure is the charming Old Town, which is buzzing with daily activities for visitors and boasts a wide variety of boutique shops, restaurants and cafes. You’ll also be just a 10-minute walk from the glorious sandy beaches, home to an array of bars, seafood stools and amusements. Also nearby is the vintage theme park Dreamland. As well as being home to the UK’s oldest wooden rollercoaster, it also hosts a variety of events and festivals throughout the year.
