For those seeking a taste of the peace and quiet of island life, then look no further than Ysgubor Wen. Laying just slightly inland from the Irish Sea coast of Wales's Anglesey Island, this property boasts panoramic countryside views and coastal vistas that you will love. Once an old barnyard, it has been meticulously converted by the owners to offer a stay that is like no other. Sleeping up to 10 guests across five bedrooms, it makes for a wonderful retreat for families and friends.
Whether you want to use Ysgubor Wen as a base from which to explore greater Anglesey, or just want a relaxing self-catering experience, we're certain you won't leave unfulfilled. Upon entering the property, you will be greeted by the site of the stunning kitchen and dining area. This serves as the focal point of the house and is sure to wow guests immediately. It comes fully equipped, has a large island, and the dining table comfortably sits 10 guests. Attached to the kitchen is a washing and utility room.
Walk through the main door and into the hallway to access the rest of the rooms: a snug room with a king size sofa bed and SMART TV, a family bathroom, the spacious living room with plenty of seating and a log burning fireplace, and a twin bedroom. Upstairs, there is a super king en suite bedroom - with its own little balcony. There are two further bedrooms: another super king bedroom and a twin bedroom. Lastly, there is a second family bathroom, complete with shower, sink, and toilet.
Step outside to enjoy the patio garden, where you can dine al fresco on the outdoor furniture or cook up a storm around the BBQ. The house is surrounded by flat plains, promising picturesque panoramic views of the island and the not so faraway coastline.
Ysgubor Wen sits in the little hamlet of Bryngwran. While this is a rural location, you do not have far to go to enjoy Anglesey's attractions. The countryside of Anglesey is a favourite of nature lovers, with numerous walking and cycling trails throughout the island. Hop in the car and drive less than 15-minutes down the road to Rhosneigr. This award-winning seaside town boasts of pretty beaches, charming bars and eateries, and is just a five-minute drive from Anglesey Golf Club. Should you wish to venture a little further, then why not have a look at Bangor. A 30-minute drive, this is Wales's oldest city. The picturesque Snowdonia National Park is barely another 10-minutes down the road, and home to Snowden, Wales's highest and most visited peak.
