  The Detail...

Just a short stroll from the celebrated surf of Croyde Beach, White Water is a substantial holiday cottage with space for up to eight guests, benefitting from a spacious walled garden and coastal aesthetic. With four bedrooms across two floors, White Water has ample space for larger families and friend groups.

With a light-filled interior, substantial lawn for children and dogs, and clean, neutral internal style, White Water is the perfect base for families looking to spend all day on the beach before coming home to their cottage for board games, a home cooked supper, and a lazy evening lounging in front of the wood burning stove.

On the ground floor, a large family-style communal room is the perfect central spot to plan the day or unwind in the evening, with light streaming in from the conservatory. A curved seating area here looks out over the garden, making it a brilliant alternative dining spot to the eight-person rustic table also on this floor. The kitchen is well-appointed, with an electric cooker, microwave, coffee machine and fridge-freezer, finished in neutral white tiling and blonde wood countertops.

On this floor, youll also find a double bedroom and twin bedroom, ideal for guests with limited mobility. Upstairs, a master bedroom with fitted storage and a smaller twin bedroom provide sleeping space for four guests, while the standout feature is the shower room, which boasts coastal views of the dunes, the sea, and Baggy Point.

Everything has been thought of and laid out to make this the perfect holiday cottage for beach-loving families. There's even a shower fitted in the garage so you can blast off any sand before heading inside, and your hosts have even stocked up on household essentials so that you dont waste any time before hitting the beach.

Evenings at White Water are either spent indulging in front of the DVD-enabled smart TV in the main living space, listening to music via the iPod Dock or Bluetooth Soundbar, or taking advantage of the long summer evenings in the garden. The garden is complete with its own hot tub for added luxury.

White Water sits in the heart of Croyde, meaning you have plenty of vibrant pubs nearby as well as some cracking street food and coffee shops. It's well worth heading out to see what this charming seaside town has to offer. The Thatch pub nearby is well worth a visit.

For those who enjoy a more active time away, take advantage of the surf lessons on offer a stones throw away, or head to the nearby stables for riding days - they can cater for all riding levels. Alternatively, yoga in Croyde bay followed by a walk to watch the sun set from Baggy Point is a fantastic way to spend a morning. The market on Thursdays is recommended to anybody with an interest in local crafts and artisanal, locally produced food.
