The detail

Villa Thea is a romantic escape on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Cyprus. Situated on the edge of a gorge in the exclusive Lithos Village development, this holiday home has breathtaking views across the surrounding area.

Sleeping up to four guests many actually see this villa as perfect for honeymooners due to its privacy and amazing setting. The open plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area is the social hub. Comfy sofas sit in front of a large TV, while the well equipped kitchen is a modern take on the traditional farmhouse style of the area and comes complete with an oven, microwave, and dishwasher. There is also a breakfast bar with four tall chairs, while alternatively guests can eat alfresco at the outdoor dining table and enjoy a glass of wine selected from the stone wine cellar.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, built-in wardrobes, and a stunning freestanding roll top bath that sits in front of the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. Guests can soak and unwind taking in the amazing views but without being overlooked, while there is also access to the terrace that leads down to the pool. The second bedroom has twin single beds and also has access to the terrace view double doors.

Arguably the pool area is the gem of Villa Thea, with its infinity pool that looks out over the river and gorge and right down to Coral Bay beyond. As well as the outdoor dining table there are further loungers and cleverly built-in seats to ensure there are plenty of places to relax and take in the rays.

For those looking to get out and about Coral Bay is less than 2km away and is a popular tourist destination with its white sands and array of bars and cafes. If guests prefer the quiet life then Lara Beach could be for them, which is only accessible via a 4x4 but is peaceful as a result. For wildlife lovers it is also home to the Lara Beach Turtle Conservation Centre. Meanwhile, on the north of the island the Blue Lagoon is a snorkeler’s paradise with its sandy seabed, turquoise waters, and hundreds of beautiful fish.
