Set in a private hamlet near the south-east coast of Cornwall, Tremaine Manor offers guests all the benefits of self-catering accommodation along with a wide range of hotel services and facilities. Enjoy your own space with plenty of privacy and freedom while having a reception, a hamlet shop and even a private chef on hand. Relax in your private garden, perhaps in the hot tub or even get stuck into a game of croquet. Explore the gardens and grounds of the hamlet, spend the day at the beach or soak up the scenery from the South West Coastal Path.
Tremaine Manor sleeps up to 12 guests with an additional two children, making it perfect for big family get-togethers or trips to the seaside with groups of friends. There are two master ensuite bedrooms, four king size rooms and an additional bedroom with two bunks suitable for the kids. All of the rooms have been beautifully furnished in a traditional style perfectly in-keeping with the character of the building. You’ll find grand four-poster beds, elegant artwork and open fireplaces throughout the house.
There are several living spaces in the Manor, perfect for a mix of entertaining and offering somewhere to escape to for a bit of downtime. There are two sitting rooms, two conservatories and a billiards room which cleverly transforms into a dining room to seat 14.
Outside, there’s a private garden with two terraces. Sit back and relax in the hot tub or challenge the family to one of the games on offer, from badminton and boules to outdoor chess and table football. You’re also free to explore the gardens and grounds of the private hamlet with more activities and facilities on offer. Pick up any essentials at the shop or order breakfast and BBQ hampers to your door. Visit the miniature ponies and pygmy goats in the paddock, have a go at the pitch and putt or get a game of tennis in.
There’s also plenty to do in the local area. Being so close to the coast, it’s easy to head to the beach for the day, set off along the South West Coastal Path or visit one of the pretty seaside towns and villages nearby. The picturesque town of Looe is just up the coast, overlooking the river and the sea and with its own beach. The Eden Project is only 12 miles away and makes for a great day trip and the dramatic landscape of Bodmin Moor is easily accessible from the Manor.
