This super-stylish 18th Century former wool mill sits alongside the River Gwenlais and has been lovingly restored into a wonderful rural retreat. With fab views over the Brecon Beacons National Park, this is ideal for lovers of the great outdoors, avid hikers, or people just looking to relax in style.
The crooked old mill has been converted well, and it fits perfectly into its surroundings. An elegant, comfy place to stay, the Secret Mill is ideal for families, friends and couples. Traditional charm fills the property, with every room offering rustic style. There are two bedrooms, a king size suite and a super-king which can also be made up as a twin. There are also two bathrooms, one family size and one luxury shower room. The open plan living area has comfortable seating and a fully-equipped luxury kitchen making dinner times a joy.
The cottage sits on a 70-acre estate with stunning views and walks right from the door. Outside, you have a large private garden that has a covered veranda and outdoor seating as well as a fire-pit. You also have access to a wood-fired hot tub where you can relax with the sound of the river Gwenlais in the background.
The Cambrian Mountains are nearby, and as one of the UK's least known, but best-preserved natural locations, you simply must give them a visit. You're just as likely to see a Red Kite as you are another person and the area is all but untouched from mainstream tourism and offers a hidden natural oasis away from the hordes of the UK's better-known holiday destinations.

Total peace and quiet - a wonderful place to rest and regenerate! Clean, airy, comfortable and beautifully quirky (there are a couple of low doorways and one low beam, but not a problem for us at all) - this cottage, managed by its lovely owners, is a real gem! Having a babbling and burbling and crystal clear brook running through the property is the cherry on the cake!
