Surrounded by the beautiful Somerset countryside, The Roundhouse offers yurt-style accommodation on the grounds of a lovely organic farm and has been built with sustainability at its core. Cosy and contemporary, this unusual accommodation features a four-poster bed crafted from ash coppiced from the estate's own woodlands, its own kitchen, and a bathroom with shower and roll-top bath, meaning you can get back to basics without sacrificing your home comforts.

The Roundhouse is situated close to the nearby village of Stratton-on-the-Fosse, as well as numerous countryside walks. Suited to young families and couples, the interior is surprisingly spacious and airy, while keeping warm thanks to its wood-burning stove.

Naturally lit by a statement skylight and a number of large windows, The Roundhouse makes the most of the nature around it. The decor is meticulously planned to be snug yet stylish, with sofas, a kitchen and dining area and beds presented in an open-plan layout. Thanks to its dome ceiling, the space feels large but is easy to keep warm during the colder months. Outside, benefit from a private garden and patio with loungers and an outdoor dining table for al fresco meals in the summer or cosy drinks in the winter.

Located just a short drive from Bath, day trips into this historic city are made easy from The Roundhouse. Or why not visit the nearby Cheddar Gorge, famed for its dramatic scenery? Closer to home, the local village of Stratton-on-the-Fosse is home to a quirky pub, perfect for a post-walk pint and a hearty meal. Speaking of walks, you'll be spoilt for choice as you discover a plethora of hikes, trails and viewpoints all around you in the Mendip Hills, as well as excellent cycle trails along the old Somerset and Dorset railway.
