  The Detail...

The house truly offers the unusual! The large kitchen breakfast room has the feel of a barn with its glass roof, oak beams and log burner. A private staircase leads to a bedroom and bathroom separate from the rest of the house. Walk from the kitchen and through the dining room and you will find both a formal sitting room and a large snug an excellent space to curl up and watch an afternoon film. For a bit of fun for the adults why not serve up a cocktail or two at the handmade African bar!

The bedrooms, all full of uniqueness and charm, are set over the top two floors. There are a number of staircases and little secret doors connecting them all together, fantastic fun for kids to explore and play.

With all this you may never wish to leave the property but if you do then the location is excellent. The famous 'Severn Cider' is just down the road, for events and tastings; whilst the Forest of Dean offers plenty for the adventurous including mountain biking, zip wires (Go Ape), kayaking, horse riding etc. There is an abundance of cycle tracks and valley walks where you may even encounter the native wild boar. Alternatively; just relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility in this rural retreat.

The village of Blakeney is 2.7 miles away and has a shop, pub, takeaway and Italian restaurant. The city of Gloucester is 30 minutes away and the regency spa town of Cheltenham is 40 minutes away by car. Large supermarkets can be found in Gloucester on your way to The Manor.
