This large Edwardian house is full of character and charm and is set in the pretty seaside village of Milford on Sea in the New Forest. With a table tennis room, a large garden featuring acres of lawns, a paddock and a hot tub, this quirky house is a great choice for family get-togethers.
The interior has been furnished in a modern country style which is immediately warm and welcoming. A large kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need to keep a hungry family happy and you can enjoy family dinners in the adjoining dining room with Sonos speakers. Put your feet up in front of the fire in the living room while the kids hang out in the play room which has games, a TV and a hanging cocoon chair.
There are five bedrooms, sleeping up to nine guests in total. These rooms are all beautifully furnished in neutral, relaxing tones. Expect crisp and luxurious bed linen, cosy duvets and fluffy towels waiting for you. There is one super-king, one king, two doubles and a single, providing flexibility for a family. Two of these rooms have en suites for added privacy, and there’s a large family bathroom as well.
Spend sunny afternoons out in the garden, relaxing on the outdoor sofa or in the hammock or perhaps playing a game of croquet. Guests can also fire up the barbecue in the courtyard cooking area which has a dining table and chairs. In the evenings, turn on the festoon lighting and the outdoor heater to keep you cosy. You might be lucky enough to have a visit from the local deer in the paddock and there’s a secluded feel about the place. The property is surrounded by woodland, whilst horses graze beyond.
The house is ideally situated for a rural retreat offering plenty of peace and quiet, however, it's also close enough to the local village and the beach that you’ll never be short of things to do. It’s just a 10 minute walk to the beach where you’ll get beautiful views out to the Isle of Wight. A 15 minute stroll will get you to the pretty village centre where you’ll find lots to eat and drink in the pubs and cafes. On Saturdays, head to Lymington for market day, just a 15 minute drive, you can stock up on some local treats. Go for a walk along the cliffs, taking in the beautiful sea views or head into the New Forest and explore some of the cycling trails.

7 Night Minimum stay in school holidays Saturday-Saturday. Check in 4pm and check out 10am, to allow for deep Covid compliant cleaning. Earlier check in and later check out may be possible if there is availability, and must be requested.
