Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in nature at The Cowshed, a peaceful lodge set in beautiful grounds on four acres of rustic fields and woodland. You’ll find a kitchen garden full of fresh produce in season, chickens wandering around, a wood-fired hot tub to soak away your stress and a pond for a bit of wild swimming (if you are brave enough!). Whether you are looking for a romantic retreat, a mini-moon or just to switch off for a while, it is a perfect stay.
The Cowshed is a spacious and sophisticated country retreat. This lovingly converted farm building boasts a separate kitchen, living space and large bedroom, all stylishly designed for your comfort. An Esse Bakeheart stove will ensure your cabin is always snug and warm even on the chilliest of evenings.
A super-king size Hypnos cashmere bed will welcome you home at night and ensure you have a fabulously restful sleep and sweet dreams. The cabin also has a modern bathroom with a rainforest shower and some lovely fluffy towels.
The well-equipped modern kitchen offers a Nespresso machine, induction hob, electric oven and fridge freezer so you and your loved one can prepare tasty meals throughout your stay. If you’d rather cook alfresco, a firepit BBQ gives you the opportunity to throw some produce on the grill and hear it sizzle away in the summer sunshine.
Dual aspect sun decks and garden are the ideal places to sit and enjoy a chilled glass of wine in the sun while you dine in the fresh country air. For even more relaxation, a private wood-fired hot tub is on hand offering you the chance to soak away your stresses after a day’s adventures.
You’ll find plenty to do and see in the four acres of grounds where your cosy home is located. Explore the woodland and see what wildlife you can spot. Why not discover the local area by hiring a bike? The country lanes are quiet and flat and there are plenty of inns to discover. Take a wine-tasting tour of one of the local vineyards or enjoy a day out at the seaside. Aldeburgh and Southwold are nearby and provide traditional seaside fun, plus wilder walks along the dunes with excellent fish and chip waiting at the end!
The nightly price will vary depending on the number of nights booked for your stay.
