Nestled in a country lane in the village of Butley, The Barns at Butley comprises two main buildings converted to accommodate fourteen in one and six in the other. These barns are perfect for a large family get together or a friends holiday with plenty of luxurious extras on the menu.
The larger barn is a grand affair with seven bedrooms all of which have been decorated to a high standard in pale serene colours and come with en-suite facilities. The smaller, Pottery Barn, is equally pretty and boasts four double bedrooms with two shower rooms and one family bathroom. Both have large open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas with plenty of comfy seating for all and large dining tables. Both kitchens are modern and fully equipped for any chefs in the party, but if you don't feel like cooking, the hosts will be happy to provide catered dining for the whole group or just for a special occasion.
Both barns have stone and wood flooring throughout and charming exposed beams, and there has been a great deal of attention to detail so that you can relax in style and comfort. Both barns have TV's and freeview channels if you fancy a movie night, but there are plenty of other options on the properties themselves. A fabulous indoor sunken hot tub and sauna is available as well as your very own yoga studio.
Outside, there is an additional hot tub for eight where you can laze away a sunny afternoon with a glass of champagne. An astro turf area is available for playing sports and the garden has several BBQ's. The hosts can also provide and Ooni pizza oven (they'll even provide the dough!) if you fancy a beer and pizza night.
In addition to the fabulous accommodation, the owners offer a number of services which can be booked, such as a prosecco van, wine tasting, afternoon teas and if you like fishing they will pack you a luxury hamper and drive you to some of the best spots!
The barns are also available as corporate facilities to host fully catered meetings, away days or team building events. The yoga studio converts into a meeting room, with plenty of daylight and has some AV equipment installed. The Barns’ secluded location is perfect for a photoshoot or can offer a superb location for filming.
You are located only a twenty minute drive from the beautiful and very popular town of Aldeburgh, which is a great place to explore. The Oyster Inn at Butley is a five minute walk from The Barns and is a traditional village pub serving real ale and home-style pub food. The pub has a cinema room in a converted barn, available for private hire.
Explore the towns, villages and hamlets along the fifty mile stretch of the beautiful Suffolk coastline and spend a day at one of its lovely beaches. The owners will be more than happy to make suggestions and help you with your planning.
