Set in a beautiful estate stretching over 5,000 acres of gorgeous countryside, The Walled Garden is a fabulous holiday home. Once upon a time this highly luxurious spot was home to the estate’s many gardeners. However, this striking red brick building has now been converted into a charming holiday space perfectly suited for large groups of friends or family. Not only is the giant, pristine garden a sight to behold, but inside this incredible home is stylish and unique, with a huge vaulted ceiling in the main dining space; elegant giant glasshouses; and king-sized bedrooms with en suites featuring roll top bath tubs and power showers.
The sublime kitchen, which sits beneath a giant glass roof, is filled with natural light has all of the fittings required and is a wonderful spot for cooking. It also has underfloor heating, wine fridges and some comfy sofas for socialising. There’s also a games room beneath yet another large glass ceiling where you can enjoy games of pool, table tennis or table football. Dine in the grand dining area, socialising with friends before retiring to the cinema to watch a film on the giant screen. With exposed brickwork, fabulous stone floors, giant windows and glass ceilings, this striking holiday home is a work of architectural beauty. Guests will never cease to be amazed at their surroundings whether they’re sat with a glass of wine inside, or dining outside in the sunshine.
Head out into the fresh air and you’ve got access to a one-acre private walled garden. Wander around the espaliered fruit trees or head over to the covered hot tub and sauna space where you can lie back and unwind. There’s also private terrace space where you can fire up the BBQ for some al fresco dining in the summer sunshine. You can even venture slightly further afield and explore the rest of the estate on bicycles or on foot whilst breathing in some of the freshest air in Great Britain.
Head out even further and see what Suffolk has to offer. You can visit some wonderful seaside towns and enjoy one of England’s finest piers at Southwold. Try some famous fish and chips in Aldeburgh or take some time out to visit the Adnams Brewery. Or just spend some time exploring the gorgeous Suffolk countryside at your own pace before retiring back to this truly luxurious and comfortable holiday home.
