The detail

Sunseekers is just 150 yards from the sandy shores of Colwell Bay which is extremely popular with families for its clear, shallow waters, outstanding sunsets and five-star beach restaurant. This beautiful home offers spacious, contemporary and bright accommodation where eight guests can get together and socialise in stylish comfort.

On the ground floor, you’ll find an airy open plan sitting area with an L-shaped sofa, perfect for lounging while watching the 60” wall-mounted flat-screen smart TV.

A sleek, modern kitchen with an American fridge freezer, dishwasher, range cooker and single oven will provide you with everything you need to rustle up delicious meals and there is even a welcome hamper for you and your four-legged friend! Off the kitchen is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and access to a secure outside area for your dog. A stylish dining area seating eight leads out via French doors to the pretty rear garden. Throw them open when the weather is fine and enjoy the fresh sea breeze.

An accessible downstairs snug with a luxury sofa bed and ensuite wet room can be used as a fifth bedroom and is suitable for those less mobile or for young people to relax away from the adults.

Upstairs you’ll find three spacious double bedrooms, all furnished with zip and link beds for versatile sleeping solutions, plus a bunk bed bedroom. All are fresh, light and comfy with ample storage and a relaxing ambience, with two boasting luxury ensuite shower rooms. Complimentary toiletries and fluffy towels are included. A further modern family bathroom ensures that there will be no queuing in the mornings.

Outside, the rear enclosed lawned garden offers plenty of space for children and pets to burn off energy. Luxuriate in the hot tub with a chilled drink or just recline on the sun loungers and watch the food sizzle on the Napoleon gas BBQ, then dine alfresco on the furnished flagstone patio. Dogs and children can be showered off using the outside shower so no muddy foot or paw prints.

Colwell Bay offers a traditional seaside cafe and beach shops selling everything from ice creams and snacks to inflatable toys and wet suits. If you are looking to make a day of it you can also hire deck chairs and beach huts from the beach shop as well as paddle boards. Freshwater village is a short drive away with a range of independent shops and cafes as well as West Wight Sports Centre with indoor swimming pool and climbing wall for wet weather days. For water sports enthusiasts, you can hire sea kayaks at Freshwater Bay and explore the caves or even go coasteering. The surfers amongst you will enjoy nearby Compton Beach.
