The detail

Lovingly refurbished to the highest standard, the Old Mill is a Grade II listed building set in its own large gardens over seven storeys. Sleeping up to 15 guests, the windmill tower and main house are contemporary while making the most of original features. Thanks to its games room and outdoor swimming pool, there is plenty to keep the whole family occupied during your stay at the Old Mill. Ideal for family holidays and couples' retreats, guests can stay in style and luxury, while taking advantage of the spectacular views over the Norfolk countryside from the seventh floor.

The master-suite is comprised of a super king four-poster bed, deluxe en-suite bathroom with wet room and deep tub, and a dressing room. Additionally, there is a double room, twin room and family room in the main house, with options to add travel cots and a junior bed if needed. Three further circular double rooms can be found in the tower, as well as an impressive circular dining room and a glass walkway above with views that overlook the Old Mill's workings.

Atop the tower, 70ft high up, guests can make use of the viewing tower with panoramic views over the stunning Norfolk countryside. Down below at ground level, a private outdoor swimming pool awaits with the option to heat it up during cooler months and an impressive outdoor games barn includes a 14ft trampoline, pool table and table tennis among other things.

Just a short drive away from The Old Mill in Stoke Ferry, there is much to see and do. For children, there is a farm park and soft play locally as well as plenty of local historic villages and castles to discover. Quaint shops and tea rooms in surrounding towns and villages will satisfy those looking for the quintessential English countryside experience. For outdoor exploits, within just a few miles, there are forests and rivers galore, ideal for walking, cycling, boating and fishing.
