Tucked away in pretty woodland amidst the rolling Chiltern Hills, you’ll find three shepherd’s huts and a cabin providing cosy accommodation for a group of up to eight guests. Inside each of the huts and the cabin, you’ll find plenty of luxuries. Underfloor heating, high-quality linen, fluffy towels and fully-equipped bathrooms will make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Outside, you’ll find yourself surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna, the perfect spot to unplug from the hustle and bustle of busy modern life.
The three shepherd’s huts are each named after one of the plants you might find in the woodland, Allium, Bluebell and Pansy. They are each suitable for two guests and have comfy double beds, complete with hotel-quality bedding. There’s a well-equipped kitchenette with all the essentials to get you started and the log fire will keep you cosy on chilly evenings. Choose to eat indoors at the dining table or outdoors beneath the trees at your own picnic bench. The huts have been furnished in a contemporary style with the wood panelling on the walls and ceilings painted white, opening the space up.
The spacious Red Kite Cabin is also suitable for two guests and has an open plan living and bedroom area, leading off to a kitchen and a bathroom. There’s a luxurious king-size bed and a comfy velvet sofa in front of the wood-burning stove. The well-equipped kitchen has all the essentials and even a dishwasher. There’s also a covered outdoor space to the front of the cabin which is perfect for watching the local wildlife. You’ll find binoculars in the cabin.
The rural location means you’ll have plenty of peace and quiet and there’s lots to explore in the immediate vicinity. Hit the trails on foot or by bike and discover the Chiltern Hills, maybe even stopping off at the Chiltern Valley Winery and Brewery for a tasting session. It's also only 15 minutes from the beautiful Henley-on-Thames, offering the best of both worlds. Head into town and go for a wander along the river and you’ll find plenty of activity on the water. This is where the famous Henley Royal Regatta is held every year and there’s a River and Rowing Museum if you want to learn more. Hire a river boat or a canoe and explore the river yourself, or head to one of the many galleries in town and soak up a bit of culture.
