Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Poverty Hill Barn is your gateway to the breathtaking beauty of this iconic region. This stunning barn conversion, a four-bedroom gem, has been lovingly restored to accommodate up to seven guests.

The open plan living space oozes rural charm thanks to the crisp white walls and exposed wooden beams overhead. Here you can socialise together on the L-shaped sofa or gathered around the solid wood dining table, that can comfortably seat eight.

When it comes to meal prep, the modern kitchen is nicely equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious feasts. It also has a fab kitchen island where you can sit with a glass of wine in hand and watch the designated chef work away or perch with a morning coffee planning the day’s adventures.

After supper, why not enjoy an indulgent soak in your very own, private wood-fired hot tub? This is the perfect place to relax and unwind whilst gazing out at the picturesque scenery of the Dales countryside.

And when night falls, head to bed in one of the four spacious bedrooms. These bedrooms all feature super-comfy beds and some offer yet more amazing views from giant windows that perfectly frame the Dales. There are also four modern bathrooms, which means there should be no queueing in the morning.

When it comes to filling your days, the barn sits on the incredible Broughton Sanctuary, which is one of the UK's premier wellness centres and holiday destinations. Featuring 22 stunning properties and the historic Broughton Hall, dating back to 1097, this resort offers a range of activities and wellness initiatives amid beautiful countryside. Enjoy spa treatments, go for a swim in the indoor pool, or take part in numerous classes and sessions.

You can also visit Utopia, the on-site restaurant, for delicious breakfasts and lunches. Enjoy nourishing, plant based foods and organic meats as you admire the beautiful Walled Garden.

There are also a number of activities on offer at the estate, including wild swimming, forest bathing, sweat lodges, foraging, meditation labyrinths, cycling tracks and woodland dining. The Avalon Wellbeing Centre comprises an indoor pool, steam room, flotation tank, yoga studio and holistic therapies.

Adjacent to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the estate offers excellent bike rides, walking trails, mountain biking, catered picnics, woodland dining, forest bathing, foraging and even a woodland sauna!

If you wish to venture further afield, you’re situated in some of the UK’s most stunning scenery. Enjoy days spent walking around the Dales and visiting charming nearby villages, before retiring back to your fabulous barn for a dip in the hot tub!
