The house itself is arranged around a large and central lounge, with an open plan aspect and comfy furniture. On the same floor, a kitchen and dining space offers everything that you need to whip up ambitious meals for hungry holidaymakers from the beach, and with a range of excellent fishmongers, delis and specialty shops in the area, guests tend to eat well at Owlers Cottage.

Choose from the formal dining table or head outside and enjoy an alfresco meal in the stunning coastal light. Upstairs, there's a main bedroom with a double bed and its own television, and next door you'll see the guest bedroom has been set up with twin singles. Both rooms share a family style bathroom with high pressure shower and a tub for soaking at the end of the day. Everything about Owlers Cottage has been painstakingly arranged to create the ultimate coastal home away from home, from laundry facilities for taking care of the beach sand to a Nespresso machine for an effortless morning coffee.

Days are spent lounging in the private garden, swimming on the beach or making day trips around the quaint and picturesque area. As well as the obvious charms of Camber Sands, you're ideally located for the delightful town of Rye, a medieval settlement now known for its pretty cobbled lanes, excellent food scene and year-round coastal charm. Just five miles away, Rye can be reached via a decent hike, or driven to in under 10 minutes. Spend the day pottering around the galleries, bakeries and cafes and pop into one of the gastropubs for a pint of local bitter and some world class seafood. Alternatively, head inland on the footpaths or be as active as you please with windsurfing opportunities right on Camber Sands beach.
