The detail

Set in the charming little town of Wells-next-the-Sea on the North Norfolk coast is a truly gorgeous getaway. Inspired by Scandinavian design, Marsh Tide has been beautiful decorated by the owners to celebrate an aesthetic that is sleek, minimal and homely. This gorgeous property is airy and bathed in natural light throughout by floor-to-ceiling windows, which also provide arresting views over the marshes and North Sea. The large windows and coastal setting also make for the perfect stargazing opportunity in the evenings.

Sleeping up to 10 guests across four bedrooms, this retreat is ideal for groups of friends and family alike. The sitting area is spacious and open plan with lots of seating, a HD TV with all the main streaming subscriptions and a bookshelf that guests are welcome to make use of. The wonderfully equipped kitchen is simply a delight to cook in with its island unit, breakfast bar and ample workspace. It also offers views over the garden and across flat open fields to the west and the marshes to the east. A separate dining room seats up to 10 guests - the perfect spot for your evening meals.

There are four large bedrooms in all. Three of the bedrooms boast king-size beds - including one with an ensuite bathroom - while the fourth has four bunks, making it ideal for big and small kids alike. Each of the beds benefit from plush mattresses and pillows while the linens are of the highest standard to promise you a wonderful night's sleep. There are two further bathrooms: one family bathroom with a WC, basin and standalone tub, and a further shower room on the ground floor. So, there's no waiting in line in the morning!

Step outside and onto the decking, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding marshes and coastline. Here, you can take in the sun's rays on the loungers or enjoy an evening tipple with your fellow guests on the outdoor sofas. And for when things get a little chilly, you're welcome to light up the outdoor wood burning stove.

Wells-next-the-Sea is a small town, but jam-packed with cafés, eateries, independent shops and local pubs. The local area is also a firm favourite with walkers, photographers and nature-lovers. The nearby North Norfolk Coast is an AONB with beautiful views and lovely strolls, while the nearby marshes are a web of interconnected channels home to a variety of wildlife.
