Marsh Mellow is a gorgeous three-storey home a five minute stroll over the dunes to the beach and would be perfect for a large family or group of eight to ten friends looking for a seaside holiday.
Upon entering you'll find a lovely large and bright dual aspect open plan living area with wonderful views over Romney Marsh. The well-stocked kitchen has a large dining table with diner style bench seating and a breakfast bar where you can all gather for your first Nespresso or early evening lifter.
The living area has plenty of deep cosy seating and a huge flat-screen TV where you can snuggle in for a movie night or laze about with a good book. There are board-games, books and a selection of DVD's to entertain you too. The décor is white with blue feature walls and has a nice seaside vibe with a cool industrial style in the furnishings.
French doors open up on to a pretty decked garden with cushioned rattan furniture and a table where you can make use of the Weber BBQ or grill and dine al fresco with gallons of chilled wine and the sea air for company.
On the first level you'll find two bedrooms, one with an en-suite, a double bed and a wardrobe and dresser for your clothes, and a second with purpose-built bunks and a big flat Screen TV – the perfect spot for the kids to watch a movie. This room also has fabulous views over the marsh.
Upstairs on the second floor, two further bedrooms share a family bathroom with bath and shower facilities. The second bedroom is a favourite with kids and teens (and kids at heart) thanks to its bright, quirky design and two twin beds. Marsh views are on full display in the third bedroom, which features a four-poster double bed and a nautical vibe. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated with stylish furniture and thoughtful touches. If you do need an additional bed one of the sofas opens up into a double making the house suitable for ten if required.
Sunny days can be spent enjoying the beach, swimming, kite surfing and shell hunting but if you fancy a day in town, historic Rye is only a five minute drive away and is chock full of bars, restaurants and cafes. With its cobbled streets, ancient buildings and pirate history it's a fun day out for everyone. For dinner out within walking distance try the Gallivant where the staff are lovely and the food is delicious. Afterwards you can amble back to your seaside idyll, crack open a bottle of bubbly and finish your night in the garden with the sound of the sea nearby and the stars above.
