Be at one with nature while surrounded by the beautiful North Cotswold countryside at Poppy’s Pad. This handcrafted cabin with its own private hot tub allows those staying to escape and truly relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Accommodating four guests, the space has been carefully designed to be the perfect holiday home. The interior is bright and stylish, with splashes of red popping against the wood and white walls. At one end is the compact micro kitchen, which is very well equipped despite its size with a two-ring hob, fridge, and ice box. There is also a breakfast bar with stools and a sofa bed, which sleeps two people.
The main bedroom is on a mezzanine level which is accessed by a wooden ladder. Up here is a comfy double bed and amazing views across the countryside outside. There is a flushing toilet in the cabin and also an outdoor hot shower at the rear - which has a roof and offers great views as well. However, for those who prefer to wash inside there are also shower and toilet blocks on site.
The outdoor space at Poppy’s Pad is equally as impressive as the inside, with a covered deck home to a wood fired hot tub - the ideal place to sink back and relax with a glass of fizz. There is also a wood burning stove in this relaxation area to keep toasty and warm well into the evening and night, along with outdoor furniture so guests can enjoy alfresco dining, a morning coffee, or an evening drink.
The nearby village of Mickleton is only a five-minute walk away and has two pubs, a shop stocking essentials, a post office, and butchers. Beyond that this corner of Gloucestershire is one of the most stunning parts of the UK and there are many walks and trails to discover - or alternatively, use one of the many guided tours. A short drive away is the medieval market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, which is the birthplace of William Shakespeare and is brimming with independent shops, pubs, and restaurants.
